Welcome to Sacred Heart Church and Maryknoll School
It is a blessing to have you here. Whether you are part of our parish ‘ohana, a Maryknoll family, or someone searching for a spiritual home, please know that you are most warmly welcomed.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus shows us the fullness of God’s love — a love that is merciful, self-giving, and unconditional. As disciples, we are called to open our hearts to this love and to let it shape the way we live: in prayer, in service, and in our care for one another.
My hope is that when you come to our parish or school, you will experience that same love of Christ embracing you and drawing you closer to Him.
Our mission is simple: to form hearts after the Sacred Heart of Jesus. At the parish, this means deepening our life of prayer, worship, and service. At the school, this means nurturing both the mind and the heart, helping our young people grow into men and women of faith, character, and compassion. Together, parish and school, we share in the joy of walking with Christ and making His love known.
I am grateful that you are here, and I invite you to join us — in Mass, in ministry, in service, and in fellowship. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus bless you and your loved ones always.
With joy and gratitude,
Father Ese'ese Ace Tui
Pastor

What is the "Sacred Heart"?
"The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a profound and enduring symbol within the Catholic Church, representing the immense love and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Devotion to the Sacred Heart is a special form of devotion to Jesus—the focus being his Heart, which exemplifies our Lord’s redemptive suffering for the whole world.
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus began in the eleventh and twelfth centuries, but became more prominent through our Lord’s private revelations to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the seventeenth century. "

Are you open for visitors during the week?
Yes and No. We keep the Church locked, but you can call us or come to the office and we can let you into the Church.
Can I offer a Mass Intention/have a name said during mass?
Yes. Our Mass Intentions are $10 per mass.
Please CLICK HERE to request a mass intention. Please also note the following:
The Saturday 5pm mass is our designated "pro populo" mass (the mass offered for everyone), so no names/intentions are never said during that mass unless permitted by the Pastor.
The Sunday 7am and 9am mass are always designated to have more than one mass intention said. This means it can have any and all special intentions, healing intentions, reposition intentions, etc., so there is no guarantee that the intention will be by itself.
All the other masses (Sunday 11am & 5pm, and all daily masses Monday thru Saturday morning), are only allowed to have 1 mass intention/name said per mass.
